COUNCILLORS – Registrable Interests; Contact; Biography
Following several years in the Army, I moved my career onto IT and High-Tech Programmes and Projects, and then latterly to managing business finance for a UK Defence contractor; this was followed by a couple of years serving as chair of Age UK Berkshire before retiring to Shropshire.
Some years later, after 12 months house-hunting in Somerset, my wife and I found what we were looking for, in Croscombe, and we moved in 2022, and we are loving it!
The George is a fantastic community hub on our doorstep; we are surrounded by wonderful countryside, the villagers are so friendly and welcoming, and there is so much going on in the area!
Eager to enjoy village life and to serve the community of our parish, I became a member of the parish council early in 2023 and look forward to its challenges and opportunities.

I look forward to playing a part in implementing the Parish Council’s long term visions, and am keen to serve the interests of everyone that lives in the village. I am an engineer by trade, working for a building services consultancy, but am a sportsman at heart, having played tennis and padel to the highest levels.
