RECENT FLOODING IN THE VILLAGE

The Flood & Water Management team at Somerset Council are looking for information on the recent flooding in the village. They are asking for anyone affected to complete a report via the Flood Online Reporting Tool (FORT) at https://swim.geowessex.com/somerset. They would also like to receive any photos or videos of the flooding – these can be sent to flooding@somerset.gov.uk. Please include details of where and when the photos/videos were taken.
These would be used in any ongoing or pending investigations which may take place as a result. https://www.somerset.gov.uk/beaches-ports-and-flooding/flood-investigations/.
They are, apparently, investigating the possibility of central government funding for those affected. That depends on the information on the number of properties affected, so any information which could be provided could be very useful.
